That does look very cool. Why no texture filtering though? I've been meaning to get Metroid Prime: Hunters for a while. However I've lost my DS power adapter, so I'll have to get another one of those before I can play anything.

Here's a crazy thought - Nintendo add in something similar for the DS emulation on the WiiU. That'd be awesome.

Nintendo could easily do this, they just don't want to.

Nintendo is going to bring DS to the Wii U Virtual Console but they never stated a date.

DS on Wii U will probably be $20 a game. Virtual Console games are so expensive. :/

Interesting fact that I discovered today about the DS: although it uses nearest-neighbor interpolation for textures, like the Saturn and Playstation, it actually has a proper z-buffer, unlike either of those consoles. It also has hardware transform and lighting, among other 3D effects built into the hardware. It was really capable of some pretty impressive things in the right hands. It is really unfortunate that they decided not to include texture filtering - I'm not sure why they went that route. Probably to save money.

It have cel-shading through hardware, but because of the resolution it mostly suck, and it have been used widely.

Phantom Hourglass. It looks supperb but those shadow errors can be only fixed through software mode.

I'd hate to be offtopic in this but it just reminded me.... Is there any Saturn emulators that does the same thing as that modified Desmume?

    I doubt it'll be 20$. They aren't THAT expensive.

I think it's unreasonable for them to only ask like 2/3$ a game.
