Hello, new member here. Someone from reddit pointed me here so I could probably get a better answer. Was looking for some DS games and spotted these in an ad Guy wants 5 bucks for them but I'd rather not go through the trouble if they're not worth more than that.
Hello, These unit don't have chips inside. They only have the plastics parts. They were used for display only.
I honestly don't know how much they go for, I just found them pretty cool and made a half-serious offer, since OP doesn't seem to be particularly excited about them, sorry!
No worries, I totally agree with your price ! The ebay sellers are shameless ! More than 100 bucks for just for a display unit is a shame ! 10 Dollars + Shipping is a good price for them !

Don't expect much ! Only very early mockup shown at video game convention can be different than the retail version. But these two units are just the standard DSLite and DSi systems. But as you said, it is cheap enought to get them
Are most of these fully molded inside to accept retail hardware? i.e. can you buy one for the novelty and do a case swap?
