Nintendo DS red dead pixel problem

Hi all. Up until a few days ago I started to get the red dead pixel on the just on the left of my top screen. Not a major problem but one hell of an annoyance. Is there anyway to fix this? Or would It be a nintendo jobby. Note I can't get an R4 card or anything just to money constraints
