I got 2 dsi for cheap. Maybe someone can help me repair them.

    First DSI
The system charges and olso powers on. I can navigate through the menu, but everything i select (game, camera, etc) i get an error in french, something like "an error has occured".

    Second DSI
The system charges, but it doesn't power on, not even for a second, no blue light. Fuses are ok and also the screens and sub-board.

first one sounds like possible firmware issue, try updating it if possible

second one sounds like a short or possible issue with power switch

have you seen any sort of liquid/water damage on ether boards?

I had such a flaw on my Japanese NDS. It was the internal camera. It checks all the hardware before booting a title ... Don't ask me why, it just does that.

Similar to how a PS3 won't boot a HDD game with a broken Bluray Disc drive. It just sits on a black screen.

I don't know what to say. I've tested 2 screen (with cameras) and the problem is the same.
On the main main if i press L or R i can use both cameras. So i think the cameras are good.

You didn't mention you could use the cameras. Well, yes if the cameras do work while on the "OS" screen, they're not the issue.

So the only thing left is the OS software so the system update idea is a thing to try.

Well, on your video I didn't see the icon for the DS Card slot. It was either moved somewhere or it is missing.
