Probably mains voltage. You're best off trying that to start with, anyway. Don't go too high a wattage if you don't want it burning.

Yes my friend I know I just love it, NES is my favorite console of all times and my principal collecting subject so this came perfect to my game room.

The sign has a long story...

When I first found this sign was in an electronic repair shop (almost 6 years ago), in that moment the dependent doesn´t want to sell and after I insist he say "Ok 1000 USD"... I walk out...

A couple of days ago, I was on shopping with my girlfriend (near the repair shop) and I remember the sign, so I try one more time... This time the guy remember me and say ok "200 USD"... So I buy It!!

Is really beautiful and both sided, when I finish restoring it I will upload another video.

    Regards!

Ooh, I see - it's a bit more involved than just being back lit. Very nice!

    Good to see it working!

Was the shop a Nintendo repair centre?

I have Nintendo 64 light box that looks almost exactly the same! Only square in shape, no fiber optics (the whole thing glows) and no Nintendo seal icons.

Were these signs usually used in Video rental stores? I kinda remember seeing the N64 if I remember correctly.

Mine was from a ToyWorld I think, so it was probably used as a sign in the games section.
