textures need to be refined, but if its not of this, its actually pretty beautifull.

Nice to see it looking a good deal like Ocarina of Time. Of course the textures look terrible 'cause it's an early build. I mean, there's barely any scenery or anything! :smt045

In case you had trouble catching on, my question was asking whether it was destined for the GC or the 'Revolution'.

I think both looks are decent, just that the more 'natural Link' look, if you will, suits the game better. The cell-shaded look of WindWaker was nothing short of pretty beautiful itself.

 

You know I find it odd they decided to finaly release 3 more screen shots of the game, im happy they returned to 3d like ocrania of time, now lets see when this game will come out.

Thought it was a poke at the crappy gfx..

 

I think Zelda's model and texture look very good, specially the head, but the rest of the elements on the screens look not so good.

 

Compare this to about anything else on the GC and it holds up extremely well, they won't get it looking much better than this without having about ten discs.The downside of only having 1.5 gig to each disc.

About the remark of ps2 gfx, please tell me another game this gen that comes close to Snake eater, cause there ain't many, the ps2 has had the best graphics of the last yea or so, developers have really got to grips with the hardware and it seems to be surpassing everything else imo.The only gfx that have come close to recent ps2 stuff such as GT4, mgs3, etc... have been Biohazard 4's and that too is coming to the ps2...though it will have a hard job replicating some of the gc versions specific effects.

add me too. i love wind waker, and the graphics are pretty good. but i still can't wait to have my hands on the new one. hope they will do another cell-shaded one.

indeed, the game is in early developement , im sure the textures will look far better at the release.(well....i hope!) :-D

I think it looks plain bad. They should have waited a little while before posting screens. Looks like first gen PS2 quality right now.

Wow, can't wait for this one. Makes me want to go finish Wind Waker as soo as I'm done with Half Life 2 and Metroid Prime 2. The textures probably look so bad becuase you are fairly close to the characters. They's probably look fine in regular gameplay hopefully. This is true in other GCN games such as Metroid Prime 2.
