Nintendo Gamecube Demo Discs

Concerning the service disc, will it run on Neogamma? I got an ISO of a disc once upon a time for the Wii but it wouldn't boot correctly. It'd just go to a black screen.

 

I have that same problem to. I never got the service disc to successfully run on Wii but the odd thing is, it works on the Dolphin emulator.

 

I might try getting this version and burn it to a disc and launch it with NeoGamma. What's funny is with the current version I have, if I use the rebooter, the Wii identifies it as a GameCube game, but it won't work. I'll try this version. Perhaps I might have a bit more luck.

Edit: I hope there is another mirror besides wupload. It hates me and I hate it.

 

I would really try to use wiigators gamecube launcher for the wii... I have had so many problems with neogamma getting discs to run, I think I have only had two not load correctly on wiigator's launcher....

 

I'll look at it. Ironically, this disc is the only one that hasn't run for me. lol

Edit: It's not working. It seems NeoGamma uses WiiGator's launcher when you use the Rebooter. I think a patch is needed.

 

I find these on torrent, can i post the torrent file?

Ok. Just got a message from another user on another forum, but if you are attempting to run the service disc on a Wii, and you've jailbroken it, you will need to use RVL-MIOS-v4.

I'm going to test it asap.

Tested with no luck, but I'm going to attempt troubleshooting.

 

ah kk, also I found one of the reason why it wont boot. Its one of those games that stream the audio, for example Star Fox Adventures. If you shrink the game that breaks the image, so im going to try a clean burn with out any modifications to the iso and see what happens.

 

I did a clean burn (Extracted from the archive, then burned it immediately after). Unless you have an original disc and can back it up somehow.

I read that the person that told me to use v4 of cMIOS had a special modchip as well that fixed games that used streaming audio. Perhaps if we can make some kind of fix or patch, it may work properly.

You mean Interactive Multi Game Demo Disc 14 and Interactive Multi Game Demo Disc 16. I don't have them and they are in my wanted gamecube demos list.
