If you really love her, you´ll mod one for her, making a unique Dingoo. Here´s the replacement housing. :D

Huh? Any source for that? Ingenics has a Linux port for their CPUs, but i don´t think any handheld comes with it by default. The Dingoo (similar, slightly faster CPU, MIPS btw) has µC-OS II and Linux was hacked onto it by Booboo.
Gemei, the manufacturer of the real Dingoos (there are fakes made by Dingoo Technology, a team that left Gemei with Dingoo design/layout and started building their own) now even supports Booboo directly, invited him to HK and gave him all technical info he could want for their new device (Gemei A330, don´t fall for the PSP shaped A330 by Dingoo Technology), so the future is bright for open source loving gamers! :love2:
I wonder who´s manufacturing this PMP3100/Nintendo Lite.

Well, most of the sellers and boxes seem to list the OS as being linuxed based. No idea to what extent Linux actually plays in any of it, but that's what they say <Shrugs>. But in China sellers will do anything to make a buck so it wouldn't surprise me if they fudged the facts a bit.

Most of the stores seem to stock a large range of makes and models, but there is a large amount of overlap. I suspect the changes are mostly cosmetic and are just designed to confuse consumers. I rarely ask for anything from family in China because most can't tell the difference (>_<)!

Awesome pics. Why would anyone make a bootleg system based on a Pocketstation though? Such a weird choice since nobody even remembers it existed.
