I've seen that one before. Its design has alot of problems such as: 1. 4 sensors for the wireless controllers is pointless (couldn't a single sensor do the job?) 2. it needs a second memory card slot 3. two of the ports for GCN controllers are missing that would be needed for full backwords compatibility 4. with only 6 buttons (two face, two top, and two bottom) It would be falling seriously behind its competition 5. it says that the disc slot can widen for cartridges...which is obviously not possible. Despite how unrealisticly it was designed, it does still look nice.
the controller raises alot of interesting questions, including whether or not some games will support both the GCN controllers in addition to the newer controllers (i can see this being an issue with certain multi-console ports)?
it will have vga... nintendo said it iirc, and it will sure have dvi btw: why so much hate for nintendo?
I agree. Looks like a Gamecube that sort of halfway melted. The controller is kind of homely as well.
Controller looks humungous. No chance it'll use carts, I expect it'll use the same discs as GC, although perhaps higher density (are current GC Discs Dual layer?). Wouldn't be so sure about DVI - While it seems logical it doesnt always happen... And i doubt that it will have a VGa Socket - It'll be a nintendo cable that you'll need to buy
The controller is too simple. If those ass backwards compatible stories are true, it'll need to have an analogue stick and more buttons.
well its not like nintendo made the mock up... some guy on a forum somewhere in cyberspace did it... we will most likely find out what the REV actually looks like in 18 days or so (E3), so I'm holding my judgement until then ^_^
Yeah, the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) are trying to make HDMI (with support for that other acronym I forget) the standard connection system for HDTV in Europe, so if they sell it here it'll need it.
