I just got off of the Nintendo Shop on my 3DS and learned some interesting things. They now offer several retail games for download at same price as the cart based version. So far the games I've seen there are some Mario and Zelda ones. Super Mario 3D Land 1 and 2, Mario Kart 7, and Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. There are others with funky names that I could care less about available too. Any thoughts? I for one like having the game on internal storage but at least knock around 5 to 10 dollars off since we aren't getting anything physical like the manual, cart, and casing thus reducing the cost of production... SO...
I wouldn't say half off, because you are kind of paying for the convenience of not having to carry around physical carts anymore but it should be less than the boxed carts.
I don't have the space to have a cartridge or disk for all the games I like to play. That's why I like this idea along with the Everdrive and other series of flashcarts.
Nintendo 3DS games don't have manuals but, they're more expensive here in Australia for a digital download rather than a boxed copy. This is exactly why I dislike the digital age with games.
And if you go digital download that has nothing to do with the boxed versions. I am saying half off because then that is one less boxed version to make.
They might as well not have manuals. The one that comes with Lego Batman 2 is useless, it doesn't tell you anything on how to play the game, to this day I still do not understand why you would want to create your own character. I can't seem to figure how if you get to play the character in any of the missions or not. It would be nice if the manual would let me know on that. :confused-new: =hugh
