Hello :D (sorry for my basic english)

I have bought this Nintendo64 on a french auction site 5 years ago, because it was cheap for a loose japanese model, 12€, a very good deal at that time. The auction have no pictures, just a description that N64 machine come with video cable and power block.

The vendor was new without any recommandation and his name was "atarieurope". Strange, but I decided to try my chance.

It finally come 8 days later. Cool, it's really a Japanase model, and it have an expansion pack inside, what a great deal. The second things is the sticker at the right side. It is an internal machine from Infogrames with an inventory number ! Maybe the vendor "atarieurope" was finally not a joke.... What a second good surprise.

Third surprise is that the video cable was no composite or Svideo, it was classic no name RGB. Maybe an Infogrames custom RGB console, crazy. I directly try a game and effectively the image was far better than my other N64 console. But it blink every second, maybe the RGB mod is not well made and the cable not customized. No problem, for this price, it's good to put on the shelf to complete my collection.

Two days ago, I decided to buy some Gamebit screwdriver to open some Nintendo stuff. It was the time to open this N64 that was in my stock for a long time, to see in which way this RGB mod was made by Infogrames guys or any other previous owners.

I finally found some strange wires on the motherboard, professionaly made. I have directly checked on the web to see what is the cabling of a KMC N64, and I think it match but I need a confirmation. If it's the case, this console was more than a big deal. Infogrames internal stuff, "RGB modded" (but a bit too simple for me, only 3 wires), and maybe an official KMC (without is front sticker).

I was lucky to buy this N64 on this poorly recommanded auction....

Hastily installed RGB mod. Couldn't begin to tell you what the other wires are for without doing some poking around.

Yeah, the RGB mod is not really well made.

    I finally checked, it's a KMC deck.

We can also see on this photo the original place of the KMC sticker ! I never put the plastic to bright light, but now it's clear. It was nut just a classic N64 for playing game/eeprom at Infogrames but a part of a Partner kit.

I have a 64dd dev drive plus the Partner Cartridge, but like always I don't have the ISA / PCI board :(

Interesting stuff. Any chance you have any disks with your 64DD dev kit?

Too bad the stickers is not present. Maybe if someone make a scan or good pictures with reflex of the stickers, I can recreate one with a Dymo labeller.

I have no disk for the 64DD kit. It come from Jackheads of course (thank to him because I have low post counter), and I am very happy because it's not a final dev unit (with ALPS stickers and no marking about screw or legal things, but has Disk logo). I don't know if the drive is working but it make a special text line with F-Zero X if you but a commercial disk (only with this game and Dezaemon, not more recent combo games).
