I like that show. "Rock Mario, old school"? Mario 64 is not old school lol. He is right that N64 emulators are still poorly programmed to some extent ;).

Well to some casual gamers, N64 is old school, because it uses cartridges.

In the end, it's cool they mention the Nintendo instead of PlayStation.

And yes, that show is great. Last season, there was a episode that they had a Halo night

It was pretty awesome - he talked about playing on emulator when kicked out...only issue, he used a memory card in Mario 64...oops.

I never had a N64 (Played a lot though), but can't you copy to the MC?

    Still, it's a funny show.

no. you can't. Which again, makes a try by fail on Big Bang theory's behalf about video games.

You're wrong. You can copy 4kbit EEPROM saves to a memory card with an Action Replay or BlackBag's SRAM Manager V2.0 in combination with a backup unit:thumbsup:

Hahaha, while that is possible, how well would that be known to the more unexperienced gamer that this show is catered to?

also with the memory card, he was going to continue playing Mario 64 where he left off in 1999? '99?

Yes. You can with a Gameshark - but he wasn't using an actionreplay/gameshark/Backup unit to put the data BACK onto the cart so your point is null and void. I know it's possible - thats how i backed up my Zelda files xD

Maybe he got a Dreamcast in 99? I mean - I played Mario64 all the time, all the way until I got a Gamecube.

I think you guys are taking the intended comedy a bit farther than anyone behind it intended. Stuff on tv isn't meant to be taken literally - that includes politicians.
