Nintendoland

  1. Hey everyone, I came here in search of some Virtual Boy items, but I have decided to post a little topic about Nintendoland.

    1. I read the rules, I don't see a rule against advertising, but mods, feel free to delete this if you want.

    2. I'm not telling anyone to come to the site, just announcing it's return.

Alright so http://nintendoland.com has been inactive for a few years as many may know it. Born on September 4th 1998, it remained one of the biggest fan made Nintendo sites on the web. And nearly 10 years later, I have contacted the founders "Mattias and Marcus Liedholm" and they have agreed to make me a webmaster at the site. I have been working on it constantly, and would help if we could get the word out of it's return, that's why I posted a little ad here :)

Thanks for reading, hope you stop by :)

I remember this site from such a long time ago. I think that was where I first started reading about the SNES CD & all other Nintendo hardware specs. Back in the day, I had this ROM site that had only games with Mario present (or mentioned). I used NinendoLand to keep track of what I needed. Maybe the Mario game list on there will finally go past the year 2000! :110:

This, Zophar.net, & NesDev.parodius.com were the sites I frequently visited.

It's a nice site, if you were selling things then people might get pissed off. I still maintain that the guy in the Golf game on the NES is not Mario as he is too tall and looks nothing like Mario (plus the fact the Famicom version never mentions the player as anything but the player).
