Don't fret sir. I bet there are plenty of Wii games in development that will not be sports games.

The sports games seem to be much more fun than on rgular consoles due to the higher interactivity required by the player. So, I'm sure it will be fun, playing with other people of course.

I hate sport games ! They fill up the used game sections all the time making it look like a lot of choice when it's really a shit load of crappy sport titles. I have no interest in sport on a computer unless it's something odd. Come on Nintendo, give us some real games. Some people aren't interested in another bloody Mario Party or Mario (insert what ever here) games. I sure hope they bring us a true classic like when the SFC was released. F-Zero or a new Pilotwings anyone? Both with mission / course editors!

Thats funny cause gamecrazy, the only used game store in the U.S. that carries saturn, mostly just has sports games for sale when they have saturn games in stock.

I disagree, the GameExchange close to where I live has Saturn games. They arent all Sports titles...

I've yet to see a copy of Albert Odyssey or Dragon Force in the wild down there, though.

Good thing I own them already!

I rember there was one game exchange around here but it was run very shady. It was horrifying seeing so many saturn games with tons of scratches and cases that were barely useable.

I once swore not to make mention of this to anyone but you have to know.

There was this little toy shop near where i grew up here in athens, and he used to have boxed ATARI and nintendo, sega, etc consoles of the old, and games too. One day, like three years ago, I visited him to ask him how much he wanted to part with the "crap", but he promptly replied that he dumped it all in the trash, as "no one wanted to buy old video games".

To this day I loath that guy and I wish him bad, very bad.

back to topic.. yey for early Wii launch. I m having Super Famicom feelings down inside with this nintendo launch, this time around. It can be special if they can pull it right. Give the masses F-zero X on virtual console + Xpansion Kit, and watch hardcore F-zero X fans (such as myself) go nuts :D

Did you read the article? They sound pretty "odd" to me. I can't stand traditional sports sim titles either but I'm certainly looking forward to Wii Sports.

You think thats bad? some dude 7 blocks from my house had the most amazing NeoGeo AES collection you can imagine. So one day he went to college and his mom just dumped it in the garbage bin that afternoon.

I went to my city dump with a shovel, but I desisted the moment I saw the size of that place...

Graphically Metroid Prime 3 doesn't look much different from the original Metroid Prime. I think Nintendo's greatest mistake will be releasing sequels of Gamecube games, chiefly because they will be too comparable to the original titles. Innovation will be the key way to maximise sales.

I thought Metroid Prime looked pretty good. Havent got around to playing the sequel yet, but it still was a good game, IMO.

Metroid Prime is better than its sequel for me and most people I know who played thru both. The atmosphere, the music, the power-ups and the levels feel more metroid-ish than Echoes. It was a hell of a comeback for samus on the cube with the first Metroid Prime.

Just imagine how much better it could have been if they kept it as a sidescroller like it should be... :110:

don't get me wrong. Prime was a very good game, and it was totally different from a 2D metroid. I like both my metroids, 3d and 2d, each for their unique style and breath. Prime Hunters on the DS sucked balls for a metroid game though , in the single-player thing. I'm still sluggishly playing it with not much fun comming out of it. The gamecube's 3d rendition of Metroid was immersive and really spot-on, despite the lack of Kraid.

I hope the sequel for Wii is as organic as the first Prime but with much more improved graphics, that's all.
