Who is a registered with nintendovip.com here? Iv got plenty of stars over the last few months, but the only thing to get for your stars are desktop wallpapers. I heard that you can get wavebirds and games if you have loads of stars????
They very occasionally have things you can get with the stars - Like "half" games - Pokemon box was on it once, as was the zelda collecttors edition. There was once a gameboy player, but i missed out on that one :smt022
I've got 1210 stars. The site is slow as hell and all I can afford are lots of scummy wallpapers ... :smt022
Nintendo europe had a great idea with the vip system but like with everything else they do, they just stuffed it up. Who in their right mind is gonna save up like tons of points to get crappy wallpaper & screensavers. Nintendo japan had the right idea with their version called club nintendo, the gifts you can get are fantastic and they can be realistically obtained. special edition gamecube pads are like 500 points each. The Japanese one is SSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than the lame arse thing we have in the UK. I have even relayed the general comments to CAKE MEDIA in the UK who are there agents and it still falls on deaf ears. What is the US one like any better??? I must admit I would kill for the Mario & Luigi controllers and most of the other stuff they have. I have nearly 10000 points but when the GB-Players were there..already had one....Pokemon Box...not interested....so all in all....... RRUUBBIISSHH :smt045
At least nintedo USA releases games! over the past few months the euro release schedule has been shite compared to xbox and ps2!
I take back all about the European scheme.....but hey would almost sooner have nothing of nothing rather than loads of stuff that is worth nothing :smt045
