Well i was under the impression the official SDK would be better than a homebrew one but idk whats your opinion?

Although subbie would be the guy to answer most of your questions about the official SDK, I am aware that the open tools are as good if not better, than the official SDK. Plus, there's tons of documentation, working examples and live help regarding the open tools.

Keep in mind that the official SDK was designed with the proper hardware in mind to work hand-in-hand.

Also keep in mind, that the whole callback thing going on in the DS is going to make your life harder than other systems ;p Also, you can't control the Arm7 directly, which again, sucks

For more info about DS homebrew, your best guy (imo) would be Desktopman, but you ll have to find him elsewhere, not here.

    as someone once said:

yeah really your more limited in what your allowed to do with the official sdk then with the homebrew. the only good thing with the official would be better documentation for the [official] sdk I guess.
for more info on DS homebrew visit the forum @ http://www.dsdev.org
