Hey fellas, ive just upgraded to windows 7 and for some reason i can not get network neighborhood to work at all, anybody had this problem?

Its not a connection issue, the neighborhood simply wont open, it installed fine, asked to be rebooted for teh extentions to kick in but after a reboot when i click on neighborhood nothing happens!

    Any idea's?

I've heard of Win7 users having issues with the Neighborhood, but I personally haven't had any. Works just fine for me, but sometimes if I can't overwrite a file on my kit, it crashes explorer :p.

    Running Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

well the xp mode is a fail for me, simply cause my netbook cant handle it... will be installing a windows xp/windows 7 dual boot setup later on after work!

Just out of curiosity Doom, what version SDK are you using? I dont have an SDK available to me right now so have just used the network neighborhood installer from the elderman PR site.

You need a newer sdk. New sdk's add in official support for Windows 7.

Damn it, thats a shame, i only have the sdk that came with the kit and its an older version.

EDIT: SDK 7645.1 works fine in Windows 7.

Now, now did it really come with the kit or did you download that? The guy probably just got the one from tpb. Anyways, moving on.

It works fine on W7 (for me at least), as the others said just get yourself a newer one if possible, otherwise you will have to make due with something else. I heard there's a compatibility mode but I know nothing of it.
