    Hi Guys,

My SuperED just arrived (OS v11). It wouldn't run the ROMs i'd put on and then read about needing to format the sd card. but the option under toolbox isn't there. anyone else had this problem and know the resolution?

i've tried three different SD cards:

    All sandisk

    miniSHDC 8GB in adapter
    SDHC 8 GB
    SanDisk ULtra II SDHC 4GB

any clues as to why this is happening? i really wanna play Final Fantasy VI!

new carts don't need specific formatting, so they don't have format option. probably you use not unziped or bad roms

Ah yeah, that's different. I know hacked roms can be a problem on snes. One idea to check.

Because there is no format SD on newer OS because its no longer as picky about the format anymore.

Are your ROMs unzipped? Many people try to use zipped ROMs. They must be unzipped.

i think it's the zipped issue.

For some unknown reason i thought .7z was a SNES format.

Will attempt with .SMC files and get back to you.

Could be worse. Your cart could have been one of the very few that is defective.

I can relate to that, megakey is busted on my everdrive MD. though 32x makes it irrelevant since the feature won't work there.
