    Hey Everyone,

So I've been trying to get this debug version of no$gba, but it seems the author has dropped out (maybe hit by a car!?!) and hasn't been seen for over a year. Does anyone have, or know how to get this version? Right now I'm using DeSmuMe, which is totally open/free but I'd rather use no$gba since it seems to be better overall.

No$gba is still around. I don't know anything about the debug version though.

Ya, I know the app is still quite popular, but it seems the last version released was something like 1.6a?

Anyway, the debug version lets you do things like view VRAM, turn off layers, etc. I'm sure there are some open source/free emus that have debug options, but I'm not sure if it emulates better than No$GBA

NO$GBA was programmed in assembly, did you send the author of the emu an eMail? He has been gone since january 2008, he suddenly vanished!

I wonder how many copies he sold, wasn't it going for $7,000 or something silly like that?

Only if you were a company. If your a home user then its pretty cheap.

How can the author be gone since 2008 but No$Gba is still being updated for compatibility with ds?

As far as I remember, the expensive license (~$7,000) allowed you to do source level debugging; with wasn't available in the cheaper home license. That seemed to be pretty much the best thing about the app too (source level debugging).
