I assume so. Can't really reverse lag if it is there, unless you have a time machine. Or if you're Cher, you can Turn Back Time.

I'm very close to getting a Framemister. But then I have to get a PS2 D Terminal Cable and some way to connect a Gamecube to it.....and UGH.........

There's a Gamecube D-Terminal, right? I guess that wouldn't help since there's only one port on [the Framemeister] if I recall correctly. Arg.

I assume the xRGB3 "does the right thing" with 4:3 signals?

I'd say if you're worried about PS2 and GCN then some sort of component converter might be ideal. I dunno. I guess that'd require not only a splitter for the two (or an AV switch box like mine) but also the expensive GCN Y/Pb/Pr cables. (Why'd Nintendo have to do that to us?)

Right now everything of mine runs into the Pelican Sys Selector Pro (wish I had the remote...) and then either direct to TV for Y/Pb/Pr or threaded through my new Coosis box for S-Video stuff.
Audio is still a problem. Wii and Xbox through component come out the Pelican and direct to TV. Systems that run through the Coosis will need a second switch box just to get their own respective audio to come through HDMI.
And also, as I mentioned earlier I can't run composite AND S-Video at the same time, which sucks. Though, on that note, in our basement (well, my brother's.. where I live) is a hefty setup of retro stuff and plenty of composite possibilities so I only really keep a handful of things in my actual bedroom area (PS3, 360, Wii (component) Xbox, Saturn, SNES, and Gen+CD (AV/S-video modded). Hence the S-Video converter being the key for my main setup in here.

Had I still been working at my old job, I would definitely have snagged an xRGB3...

Gamecube D-terminal is just as expensive as Gamecube Component. I'm lucky enough to have GC Component cables.

I had a set of component cables, F-Zero GX looked great with them but I'm eagerly awaiting the GCVideo so I can get HDMI direct instead of relying on component. Or spending $250 on a cable.

Boy I could really turn a profit on mine, yet... APE can vouch Gamecube means a lot to me.

The Gamecube is so much fun to collect for. My Main one with component out has a non working laser and I haven't had time to swap the laser from my working GC to my non working.
I'd like to get it up and running so I can start getting games for it again. I also need to fix my PS2 and Get a New XBOX. there is much death in that generation.

Only the PS2 and GC will go through an upconverter, XBOX is plugging right into the component inputs in my TV.
