Yes I am (i'm working on a psp game atm), yet I don't think my purchase contributes to the final numbers since they usualy check sales with retail and not distributers.

also there is a white slim.

Europe already has a white unit (it's not exclusive to japan) avalible now.

 

Japan was either waiting for the RPG or TV Out I guess.

Umm... Japan was the last to get the PSP slim. So I don't know where you get you're information from.

 

More like because a new model came out and Square put out a Final Fantasy.

There's also a FFVII edition PSP-Lite out soon isn't there? to go with the Darth Vader one, and a few others. Those should help shift some units.

 

Picked up a Ceramic White one myself. Very pleased with the build quality this time around. It doesnt feel like I can snap the thing in half if I hold it wrong.

 

FF7CC LE unit came out the week prior and sold 75,000 units.

Darth Vader white PSP is for north america only (europe is getting a spiderman and simspons LE slim psp sometime this year) and due out next month.

 

I say good: the market will only get better if the PSP manages to snatch a part of DSs market share.

Dont forget about the GBC days, monopolies arent good at all...

I am so gutted that I went out with a mate on Saturday and pissed enough money against the wall to buy a PSP-Lite...

 

it is known from my areas that the 1st slum psp are from japan.. region all around singapore,thailand,malaysia etc.. all has japanese slim psp. the retailers selling them said so. Mass orders from the forums locally are getting from japan too.

 

That means jack crap dude. Asian version of the PSP slim was actualy launched first at the end of august. Second even if import shops have stock of japanese slims does not mean that a majority of the units reported sold were hoared by import shops, thats just spewing crap. Famitsu sales numbers account for store sales in japan only, Import shops get their units mostly via distributers.

 

That's a nice price. Last time I checked they were selling the DS for that price here in the UK
