    nope, I have only the serial cable (with logo manager)

    then I'm afraid you're short of a proper tool for the job.

    I'm not a big knower of this stuff but I clearly recall friends using FBUS cables to modify the software of their handsets back in the day.

    Used to be MBUS for unlocking etc.

    But both M and FBUS are both just serial cables.
