Moving to general discussion for now. It's not a marketplace topic. It's a news topic. Second the units are not from amazon but a 3rd party seller selling through them. Still I guess if someone want's a new DC badly it's an ok price (if they dont care they can get used for 1/4 of the cost).
thats not to bad as long as it comes still shrink wrapped if its not shrink warped then its just in like new condition with box that still a good price it it doesn't have the box then 80 is gouging also dont mean to hijack but i just bought a used dreamcast from a local flea market for $10 bucks 2 controllers 1 vmu power cord and a pressed copy of seaman sadly no av cable
yah but those are mostly user uploaded pictures the picture almost never shows the state of the product unless its direct from amazon
Lol. Every year the "brand new" Dreamcasts show up. I'ts not possible that all of these Dreamcasts are refurbished. One or other lucky buyer can get a really brand new unit. There's simply too much of them, complete with all the inserts, to be refurbished.
Remember a few years ago when dreamcast.com or something like that was asking for email addresses, then it turned out to be a scam to collect said addresses?
About three years ago I bought Shenmue 1 and 2 from eBay, and they came with a free Dreamcast console plus a few other games, including Headhunter iirc. I think I paid just over £20 (so around $30) The console was 'used' but it looked brand new. You're better off looking around flea markets or grabbing a cheap deal on eBay than shelling out $80 for a 'new' DC unit, imho.
