The virus was disguised as a Japanese porn viewing utility. In a statement heavy with reflection and in places downright bizarre, DarkFader explained "I should have realized the impact, which was not just a few DS'es that were bricked, but all the damn mediahype." "I cannot really justify my actions. It was also very selfish to draw some attention, which I tend to do in odd ways," he explained. "I just had to realize the idea I had after seeing the PSP variant of a bricker." He then went on to promise not to "Release any more of this crap for DS and I don't think parts of this trojan or the idea itself will emerge in future homebrew releases." He also conceded that he had been rejected by the homebrew community, and advised those playing around with their consoles to only run software from 'trusted' sources. Lol, you haven't seen forums on ngcdev.com and such. All the little pirating moron monkeys where angry as hell I personally find it amusing, since loading something with leet name "r0mloadr" is just dumb. I still like DarkFader and respect all the work he's done. A lot of people enjoy passme and flashme solutions and looks like the very same little pirating moron monkeys will run in hordes to get the MK3 once it's out, so they can play their little pirated games...
it basicly makes your DS useless. But that's not entirely true; you can change its career and use it as a door stoper, i guess.
yeah. you can fix it again. darkfader has the instruction on his site.. but it involves opening up your ds and soldering some wires in it.. the better option is till install flashme if your afraid of getting your ds bricked, it has already a recovery option.
