NP-GDEV Question

I just have a quick question, how much would a Nintendo Gdev development box with the sound library, sdk scsi card and cable be worth?

Been asked to sell one, but i want to give the guy a reasonable idea of what he can expect for it.

Haven't people been paying that for a NPDP reader?

I mean this is a full devkit box, its quite big. He seems to think he can get $1000 for it at least.

While i'm on the subject of Nintendo dev hardware, what's an NR reader worth these days, just the Reader and the power supply i beleive its an NTSC one with a jap/US switch on the side?

 

Most people don't distinguish the difference in value between dev hardware and other dev hardware hehe

Also there are 4 factors involved with each transaction in the following order

- What the seller wants
- What the buyer can afford to pay
- What the buyer is willing to pay
- What the seller will get

If he thinks he can get $1000 for it then surely there is no harm in trying. He may succeed as some people have deep pockets and $1000 may be a bit steep but not unreasonable, but also he may fail.

I personally have owned various dev hardware and prototypes for varying systems and sometimes a seller does come along and really does take the piss with such high expectations for prices and miraculously gets a sale. Others prices are so high they never get a sale hehe.

At the most (if I could get a loan) I'd probably pay about $600 inc. shipping max but for me that would be pushing my financial boundries.

For the reader expect about $250 :smt023

only NPDP-GDEV sell? did you have DDH? or NPDP-GW?

 

I will of course be posting pictures of the items should my friend decide that he does want to sell them. Until then i was just enquiring as to how much he might expect to get for these units.

Until he says he wants to sell them, i will not post picutres as this may confuse people into thinking that i am selling these units.
