I'd say its probably best to hunt down a NTSC supporting TV - Most here in the UK are, not so sure about the netherlands. Either way, it will give a much better picture than a convertor.
That one looks reasonable, but i doubt it would convert the 60Hz signal to 50Hz - is this possible?

I'd go for an RGB mod then, if your TV can take it...

Doesn't matter if it's a PAL or NTSC/-J console, all machines should be run through RGB. If you have an RGB monitor or TV with RGB Scart, get that PCEngine modded.

Buying a console and running it via composite/RF is wrong; it's like buying a 911 GT2 Turbo and driving around at 40mph, the beast should be unleashed to its full potential and thrashing along at 200mph.

Yeah, I don't know much about PAL video signals and all, but that box takes a scart cable and outputs to a scart cable...and well...you'd still have to build a scart cable for your PC engine.

I'd a agree with steadster, get yourself a new TV, buying new TVs is fun, anyway.

Yeah, that converter would be useless for a PC-Engine, as they only output RF don't they?

Yes, most modern PAL TVs have NTSC support, but only through composite or s-video - very rarely through RF.

Only the white PC engines output RF only...but that can be fixed with an AV booster.

Indeed, or you could just pull the RGB signal from the expansion connector, right?
