Decided to post this here as only Japanese residents that use the NTT service are going to help.

In the place I am renting is a ASDL modem and a router and it works (most of the time), however I can't get Utorrent to work properly as I can't get port forwarding to work. I have set NAPT設定 to the port range (19780), LAN IP 192.168.1.2 and the LAN port too (19780) and it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong? :(

I use OCN (NTT subsidiary) and have a similar setup. While I do get the error message in Utorrent it still works (both up- and downloading). I'll check my settings when I get home but I didn't change anything from the standard ones if i remember correctly.

I'm also on OCN but I don't use Utorrent. I use BitTorrent official downloader. However Soulseek used to give errors sayint that it couldn't connect but I sorted it out by adding the program to XP's fire wall list. Maybe you could try the same with Utorrent?

Thanks, although already unblocked. Just not port forwarding, speed up and down is okay but it could be better. :)

My main problem is the line disconnecting&*[!s

    [NO CARRIER]

and reconnecting every 20 minutes or so in the evening.

If you don't set up port forwarding your router will not know what IP to send the packets to. I am pretty sure bt will not work at all in this situation (although upload should, in theory). What ports did you open? I read that 6881-6889 are the default bt ports.

PS: NTT sucks -- get a different provider!
