yeah I have the software now.......still have yet to get it to work. the manual is either corrupt or something as the text is displayed in weird characters. I know what japanese characters look like and its not that and there are a few english dos command prompts sprinkled in it so I doubt its corrupt. I've tried to find someone to look at the file but have yet to be successful...............

There are other people on the board looking for the NU64 Gang Writer software. I think it would be a good idea to upload it somewhere so your fellow members can download it.

It's normal for japanese DOS programs to show garbage on non-Japanese computers. I have a few other N64 tools that do that also.

Some people would also be very interested in the PC software for the RVT-H. ;)

    No deal Noel!

Great find mate with the N64 GW software. I was looking for this actively for about 2 months before I sold my GW. I know that GW is now in the right hands though and the software couldn't have been found at a better time.

I will get this down too and upload it for everyone.

    Cheers for the update mate.

Am I correct that the plug on the gang writer is a VHDCI 0.8mm ??

and that I most likely would need a "HPDB68M VHDCI 0.8mm SCSI Cable "?

I really need a copy of dos/v if anyone has it..............

    edit:

finally found a program to read dos/v ascii text documents. It revealed the messed up text found in the notpad documents found in the manual folder that comes with the software. I translated it with an internet translating program and it's now in english. If anyone's interested in a translated manual drop me a PM. this should help get it working for anyone trying.......

The n64 gangwriter takes a HPCN50 scsi cable. you can find them on ebay, you'll need a terminator too.

google search the cable and you'll find some for sale. That's how I got mine.....

Anyone know where to get a VHDCI 50 - HD 50 make/male SCSI cable?
