Sad as it may seem, I wanted to see just how many platforms Nyan cat is on after seeing the very trippy 360 version found on a Indie RPG drafts game in the credits section. Here's a list of ones I know of. Mega Drive - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbWub37751Y NES - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKEkmOQANgA SNES(Sort of) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Aj0Pdw-msQ iPhone (endless version from my own phone) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H-uhElVjNY Neo Geo - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPeR8SYqLMk XBOX 360 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-7RqpjyZgs ADDED: Nintendo DS - http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34668 Sinclair ZX81 (in progress...) http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/4946/nyanw.png Atari 2600 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=JP&v=XE4uSsH-3RI Dingoo (in progress...) http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/433/nyansprites.png Plus 4 / C16 (I used to own a Plus 4. Yakumo
So does the iPhone but that isn't Nyan cat as in the original so I don't count it. What I'm looking for is the original Nyan Cat. I'll add the DS version that Trenton_net made to the list. Yakumo
http://pouet.net/search.php?what=nyan&type=prod&x=0&y=0 The Atari 2600 one is quite cool, have a look at the live footage from Evoke: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XE4uSsH-3RI edit: All are cool ofcourse! Working on a Dingoo version btw, but my C++ skills suck. Here´s my sucking spritesheet, made with Grafx2 (click, really cool software!): http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/433/nyansprites.png
Wow, that Atari 2600 version is very cool. I had no idea the system could display so many colours at once. I've added that and the Dingoo version to the list. Yakumo
You forgot the C16 and ZX Spectrum ones from the pouet link. The PC one done in 1k is quite awesome as well... ;-)
