Here's some videos from the PS3 party at NYC:

Here's one of differents games like Fullauto2, Sonic (which looks the same as in the X360) NFS:carbon, Gundam, Call of Duty 3, TonyHawk, MotorStorm, and Heavenly Sword.

Over here you can see the PS3 eye-candy browser that we never saw in the PS2. Too bad the sony rep didnt say a word about Flash, if its based in Opera, Firefox or something else, and security. The girl also mentions you can use any bluetooth keyboard with it, which is good news cuz typing in the PSP was somewhere near to torture.

The picture viewer is nothing we havent seen already.

And heres the movie player which looks exactly like the one in the PSP, and has these icons with clips from the movie just like the ones in a Mac when you put a running movie in the dock.

So, I've to say sony is into something with these apps. After all, theres a lot of people who only uses their PCs for these aplications, and may use the PS3 instead. After all, the easy to use dumbed-down interface and the "ohh so shiny!" GUI will appeal to a lot of casuals.

I still do not understand why anyone thinks that the PSP/PS3 interface is appealing. It is unorganized, unintuitive and inconsistent.

Its light years better then the Wii interface which is nothing but a total mess. Atleast the Psp/Ps3 interface is well organised and simple (i've been using a psp since its release in japan).

360 interface imo is great but a bit too cluttered (any free space has forced advertisement).

I m with subbie on this one. The 360 is just a mess to look at, at any given time. Anyone who tries to navigate it for the first time will get lost and confused.

Indeed, it was designed with simplicity and easy of use in mind, not functionality.

Remember: most people dont want or just dont have the time to learn to use a new and complex user interface.

Motorstorm looks pretty amazing now, not far off the very first prerendered stuff.

The rest didn't look so hot in the video though.
