Basically, there's a Japanese watchmaker, doesn't sell overseas, doesn't even have a webstore that I can find. I want to ask if someone can enquire about buying one of his products, and do the purchasing if possible. Then obviously send it to me.

If anyone can assist, the usual gratuities can be discussed for your troubles.

    Thanks

You might try GSL, he's left the forum but I suppose you still have his details. He'll be going to Tokyo for a year this september. Failing that, there's currently two friends of mine there, too, and one of them going in september.
I guess you'd be better off finding someone on this board, but should that fail, hit me up :)

Do you work for them? Their fees are a sick a joke. They are literally double the competition in many cases.

    As long as they're reliable.

There are many others that are just as reliable, for much cheaper. As I understand it, some of the bigger guys have a hard time following shipping instructions. I've never used any of them though, so take a few grains of salt with that.

Thanks for the link, sadly these are one-off watches, rather than a retail brand.

Would Rinkya act as an intermediary in this manner though? I basically need someone to email the guy and find out what stock he has, and prices, then relay that to me and order somethingon my behalf. Rinkya just do stuff like Yahoo auctions doesn't it?

SMJ used to, but I'm pretty sure they quit. The auction process is totally automated (other than the emails) so there's minimal time going in. This is 100% manual, so yeah... not really worth it for those guys.
