Hello Folks! Thought I'd share some of the unused content me and @NexTheReal have found within the 5 leaked builds of the Elder Scrolls Travels. Many of them are maps, unused items, weapons and even some in game functions that were not implemented. There is A LOT of stuff so its gonna take a while to get everything documented in videos/pictures. This is currently what we have ready right now. Will update as we get more videos/pictures of everything we have found. Spoiler: Maps The Glenpoint levels are implemented in some of the builds, but do not work and crash the game. Using the Renderware World Viewer we are able to see the maps. This is from the 1/2/2007 build. Note: There are two different verisons of Glenpoint maps. A very basic Whitebox version and a later, more detailed version. This is the latter. We will also include videos of the basic whitebox version when we get to it. Thanks to Nex for making these videos! Glenpoint_1 Glenpoint_2 Glenpoint_3 Glenpoint_4 Glenpoint_5
This next one is something I did not expect. It is an early version of Anticlere and as you can see it's very, very different from the final. This was found in the 11/21/2006 build. All levels are unplayable except for the fourth one. Spoiler Early Anticlere_1 Early Anticlere_2 Early Anticlere_3 Early Anticlere_4 Early Anticlere_5 Edit: I apologise in advance for having so many videos. Will work on making fewer, longer videos.
Is there any relationship between this PSP game and the PC/console version in terms of data files, engine etc?
The only thing they share really is the name. Different engines, completely different data structure. What the psp version has most in common with is Silent Hill origins and Ghost rider (as they use the same engine). There's actually some left over code from Ghost Rider in there.
Anybody have any experience with Renderware texture dictionaries? The tools I have to extract the textures don't work as Oblivion uses a newer version than the tools support. The format is different from the ones i'm familiar with. It uses the same format as Silent Hill Origins and Ghost Rider if that helps at all. Any help would be appreciated.
Found some very intresting unused stuff in the past few months. Rhalta, Zone 5 Inascessible corridor and a tower interior, there are some maps and the guard corpse has a unseen dialoge. Rhalta Oblivion, Zone 1 2 unused npcs with dialoge, probably the same guy that stands at the oblivion gate, there is a lot more to this map but I will show this at a later date Rhalta Oblivion, Zone 2 a unused bugged guard is in the map, attacks the player Rhalta Oblivion, Zone 4 The map isn't empty afterall, there are 4 unused monster spawners for the map Rhalta Oblivion, Zone 6 the area that not working teleporter is supposed to lead to, it looks pretty neat and the dremoras aren't a piece of cake xI Rhalta Oblivion, Zone 7 Inascessible second tower interior, the teleporter leads to the unused Rhalta Oblivion, Zone 8 Rhalta Oblivion, Zone 8 when the sigil stone holder on the tower is fixed it will teleport to the hub and give the player a sigil stone, as in vanilla oblivion The Hub, Zone 4 On the map are a total of 32 unused events, this includes 2 traders, 4 npcs and a unused quest. The inkeeper will task you with killing the rats that infested his inn, you may be able to kill those but the quest cannot be completed. Moonguard, Zone 1 3 unused npcs are in the map. Moonguard, Zone 2 3 unused npcs are in the map. Moonguard, Zone 3 3 unused npcs are in the map. Moonguard, Zone 5 a unused room, in the room is also a unused guard npc that can be enabled Moonguard, Zone 7 2 unused areas and 2 unused npcs are in the map. unused model, its called Paperdoll
Here's a little test I threw together in Renderware studio. Tests some animations and models from the game.
I used to be interested in this game and have a patched ISO from 2006-06-10 15:57:17 (which could be this) but I didn't follow the thread and missed the update. Was there any progress made and would you mind sharing some patches?
