I was just surfing the net and came across this picture that I recall seeing in a mag, somewhere in the early 90th. http://ultimateconsoledatabase.com/unreleased/action_enterprises.htm It´s kinda crazy but One thing I do remember about it is that the company was located in Bahamas and that it was suposed to be made out of wood (!) Anyone who can confirm or have other info on this thingy?
There was a small rumor-type article on it in an issue of Game Players from around 1991 I believe, that's where I first heard of it. Beyond that I can't help you.
No, Quartermann also speculated about the Gamemaster in his gaming gossip column in EGM way back when. This thing was probably announced, but it was so ambitious (unbelievably so) that it never went anywhere, probably.
It just wasn't possible back then, at least not to the size in the picture and at a price possible for retail. It's really that simple.
