This demo is as far as I can tell very hard to find. I've been researching for over a month and have only heard of one in existance. This demo was used at events like E3 and Nintendo World, and features a lot of Beta content. It would be very cool to learn more about it and eventually track down and purchase a copy. I would love to get some new leads. Any information would be helpful.
I would tell you to check on NA to see if there was any info there but I noticed you already made a thread over there. I remember reading about this cart some time ago but I don't remember any other info about it except that maybe its content was different from the NFR cart that was used in the stores.
It has completely different menus and UI as well as a few beta textures, and what I'm most interested in, some glitches that were later patched in the original. I speedrun the game very seriously and am incredibly curious about the progression of glitches throughout the game's development. Anyhow, I've done probably at least an hour of research a day, sometimes 2 or 3, for around 2 months and have come up with very little. I'd very much like to get my hands on this so that I can study it and complete my collection of the game. I currently have the other 8 versions (6 retail and 2 NFR) and would love to get the final piece of the puzzle. As far as it's relation with the store kiosk NFR, they are similar showing a strong resemblance in the first menu where you select between Kokiri Forest, Deku Tree, and Gohma, but that's kind of it.
