Hi, a friend (Fanatic 64) told me yesterday about a new rom is on auction. On the internet there is a debug ROM for NGC Version, the difference is, this is not MasterQuest, ie, this is a undumped cartridge. We have this one Undumped The problem is the high price..... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/The-Legen...ideo_Games_Video_Games_JS&hash=item461f9b46bd
There's already a thread. http://www.assemblergames.com/forum...Possible-Ocarina-of-Time-debug-cart-on-ebay!!
That video just shows the authors ignorance towards N64 prototypes. Official 512M flash carts are insanely rare, so someone should've hacked the MQ rom, written it to an 512M flash cart? I find that highly unlikely mostly because of the rarity of the 512M cart. If this guy can get me 512M carts for $50, please send me a box of them.... Also, these flash carts WERE used over and over, that's why they're flash carts, doh!
I've had a 512 for years, probably since the mid 2000's when a number of developers around here went broke. I think I paid about $30 for three of them, two of which I sold off. Perhaps I should have tried flashing them with zeldas before selling them off. EDIT: I also have a 256 and a wideboy from the same seller
512 Mb official cards aren't that rare but they were more expensive than other cards, those were also not available to third party developers in the early days of N64 development.
