Has anyone tried one of these? It appears to alter/intercept the eject signal from the button and fool the PS2 into ejecting the tray without re-triggering the disc check.. Nope. But the tray ejects faster and that looks... kinda brutal. There's something that could be messed up during the assembly of the G2 plug-in : LOL. I've equipped a few consoles and it happened to me once. Maybe the G2 had a faulty design... Also, the "Lucifer" board doesn't fit very easily. I had to hotglue them to the right side of the optical blocks.
I have spoken to the seller on eBay, and apparently this will need some additional soldering to work on a V0, and will only allow PS2 swapping not PS1. Unfortunate as it seemed a good way to play all region PS1...
you still need a set of swap magic discs + some kind of ps1 boot disc. i've fit one once, like krHACKen said the forced eject is brutal.
