Not really game related, but then again it sorta is...I remember EEVBLOG doing a tear down of this machine and mine has the same "Test/Evaluation" sticker on the bottom as well. Need to find a power supply for it as it didn't come with one and the battery is basically flat. Interesting none-the less...you don't really think of Namco/Bandai when thinking of these types of things. MSRP was almost $6000 haha...

Wow, nice find. I've never even heard of these being produced by namco until now.

Sweet stuff. Didn't know Namco was into TTS-based speaking aids for a time.

You should use the TTS voice on that thing for confessions simulators, now that oughta be hysterical!

So I gave it to a friend's friend who has a son that is Autistic and mute. Better that it get used for what it was actually meant for then sit in a box forever. I guess we'll see if he likes it. If he doesn't then I'll get it back and probably fiddle with it some more.

Oddly enough my friend's friend's son had it for a few months, didn't take to it, so they gave it back. So I chucked it on ebay for a few bucks and someone in the UK bought it for around $70 I think for a similar use. So hopefully it works for them.
