I'm looking through all my old megadrive games in the hope that they might be worth something. I've came across Road Rash 2 which isn't worth a lot, but the cartridge I have looks nothing like any I can see on ebay or anywhere else online. Does anyone have an explanation for this? Its shaped differently in comparison to the normal ones and it has loads of Japanese writing on the back.

It's a bootleg, the Japanese version is a large cart similar to the PAL version.

Yep, it's 100% a fake. The Japanese Road Rash comes on one of those stupid EA style carts likethe rest of the world. The quality of the sticker and the half arsed way it has been put on to the cartridge alone should tell you it's a fake.

I've noticed that a lot of bootlegs have a stretched look to them - like they took a larger piece of artwork and resized it vertically, but didn't bother to keep the proper aspect ratio.
