I live in Quebec, and I have the standard box art, It has the 'NOT FOR RESALE' logo on it. The manual is in English, but it's the same with all my games; not a word in french, execpt in.on the Sonic 1 manual/boxart. I have been to a store a while ago, and saw that all the Sonic 2 carts/cases looked like the standard US carts/boxart.
Guys, mettleramiel is right and I know for 100% certainty that this is a Canadian Sonic 2. It is because of the whining people in Quebec. Sega didn't make a special box just for Canada so they used the EU box and simply replaced the Mega Drive logos with Genesis logos. Case closed. Those of you in Canada that say the Canadian Sonic 2 is the same as the US version actually have the US version. It was probably imported in bulk. Yakumo
