Oddworld Collection Full !

Really nice collection! I like the PC versions, but I can understand how collecting them could get a little excessive. I'll have to give Abe '99 a look.

I remember playing the original Oddworld, and spending so much time just making Abe fart. I'm looking forward to Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty.

 

I completely agree I cant wait for New n Tasty ! Release date keeps changing though all the time

 

Personally, I don't care if the date changes as long as it gets released!

Been far too long without a new Oddworld title! >_<;

What is the Abe 99? just a japanese version of the game or something more? Gonna google it.

 

Yeah. They say they're going to release a PC version, but they haven't said if it'll be released simultaneously with the console versions or later. I'm guessing it'll probably be later. I hope they don't do what they did with Munch's Oddysee - where they said there would be a PC version at the same time as the Xbox version, but instead it was delayed... until 2010.

 

Great stuff, you should definitely get the PC versions, the US versions had pretty glorious boxes.

 

Abe 99 was released a year later, It is the latest version of Abe's Exoddus available and has all PC updates ported to playstation. Not many changes to the game except updates, being in Japanese and some removed/added features.

Yeah I agree with you , Going to collect the PC ones ive decided too.

Awesome. You really ought to scan and document everything as you go!

You might still be able to get a standard edition print of the Art of Oddworld book but maybe the OI guys could help you find a copy as they were pretty hefty art/concept books.

 

I have got the Art Book man, I havnt got one of the original released ones though I think mines a late copy with the new logo design

 

Well I figured I'd ask as there were multiple editions of both the first prints and the later prints so there's upwards of like 7 versions of the artbook. >_<;

Yeah I have the late version with the new oddworld logo, finding an old print now will be very difficult
