I was thinking on unreleased games today and remembered that Munch's Oddysee was orginally slated for a PS2 release and may have been rather different then it's X-Box game. All I have of it is a picture of it from a magazine. Anyone know more about what the PS2 lost/whether a beta ever surfaced?
I posted some here some time back (their still up, amazingly): http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5808&highlight=presents I have higher resolution copies if you'd like also (their too large for imageshack to host though).
I'd love some higher res scans, they're just delightful, I shall curse someone involved (Oddworld guys or Mircosoft) for killing off such awesome concepts. Thanks heaps, presumably no beta has ever cropped up even in the circles?
If you google around or search like IGN you can find some PS2 tech demos for it. It was also slated for PC.

Yeah that's why I said 'Just need to figure out how to download it...' I can stream the movie, but I cannot capture through Quicktime Pro apparantly.
We need to find someone who has a login for the IGN and Gamespot paid accounts or whatever or have a community login for it to get all those old movies and stuff. Never know if theyll someday be pulled off...
Hand of Odd sounds really cool, Oddworld was one of my favorite series and I'm hoping beyond hope another game gets made.
Yeah it is a little beyond hope when the creators decide that video games are dead to them. But hey, if they're really dead to them, maybe they wouldn't mind giving us the earlier builds.
BTW , i found this image around the web : From the old E3 (maybe around 2000 edition) , where there are some beta clip videos . the clip in the right television is also avaible here :
