I got a huge odyssey 2 setup for a tiny price. Looking at this thing, I can't even tell what kind of video it uses. Is this RF or older? My tv can't show any video using RF, says out of range.
At radio shack I got an adapter for my antenna that converts it to a regular cable cable, Could that work maybe?
Maybe this site will help. http://www.ozyr.com/o2/tvcordhk.html I still use those Game/TV switches now and again with some of my older systems.
How can something be older then RF? In the UK and France maybe, but in the states most games consoles have used Channels 3 and 4 on the VHF Band I. Still the O2 can be converted to composite video by using the black wire that goes into the RF box and another wire for Ground, which should be good enough for you to see if the machine works or not. However a better mod can be done here http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29884
It is an RF connection, and if my memory is right it's also not strong enough of a signal to activate the auto-switching boxes like you might use with an NES or SMS. BLU's right, you probably need to use one of the really old Game/TV manual VHF switches. I have a little stand-alone RF tuner that I use for the really old consoles, to convert to composite and/or S-video on the fly without having to mod the game systems if I don't want to.
