I was just going through my game collection, and checking which games I have and have not beat, and was very surprised with the result. Through all 126 of my games, I have beaten (Drumroll).....71 of them! Thats about 56.3% of my collection! :happyhap: Here is the list that I came up with: GBA 19 beat 6 unbeat GC 7 beat 6 unbeat NES 1 beat 1 unbeat PS1 23 beat 8 unbeat PS2 13 beat 23 unbeat Sega Saturn 2 unbeat DC 1 unbeat Xbox 8 beat 8 unbeat Post your amount of beaten games, here! You dont have to do a list, as that may take a while with the size of your collections. :smt023
I've beaten so many games I'd literally have to go down a checklist for each system to remember most of them.
I never finish most of my games. Either I get bored (90% of them) and start a new game, or the game will crap out on me (damn you, System Shock 2). The only recent game I've beaten would be Raptor: Call of the Shadows.
Same here. Most recently though, I finished Thief III (xbox) and Ninja Gaiden Black (Normal difficulty--now working on Hard mode).
I have finished the three of the Pokemon games on GBA, except the last is still sealed. The Final Fantasy 1/2 cart . done too ! Zelda Minish cap, 99 % done, I still need to kill the last boss. Tekken: been there done that. And I don´t think I have done anything recently.
This week was a PS2 week really. Ookami - TGS demo - excellent, got me excited about this game. Jojo ps2 version - very funky 3d fighting indeed. Genji - sexy as the graphics on the ps2 get. Twinkle star sprites - unlocked neo geo version. Though the ps2 version isn't bad Finally beat Rumble Fish to the end on level 8 difficulty including secret bosses - uber hard! Oh and need one more ending on Green Green 3 - pc game The same can be said for Baldr Force EXE. As for total completed games - no idea. It also depends on what you count as complete. Next I'm working on finally sorting Maken Shao
Beating the last boss is considered complete, IMO. @WolverineDk, I beat Minish cap and have done every single side quest there is to do...period. P.S. You literallly need probably around 100,000 rupees to get every figurine, which you need to get a piece of heart. There also is a secret spot close to links house where 20 rupees appear every time you dig there.
Hmmm, what made this thread official? J/K I've beaten: Donkey Kong Country (Not 100%) DKC 2 DKC 3 Super Mario World Super Mario Land SML 2 Zelda Link to the Past Zelda Link's Awakening DX Zelda OOT Zelda Majora's Mask Donkey Kong 64 Mario Kart 64 Super Mario World Yoshi's Story (Had one more level left before I sold it to GameStop ) Lion King SNES Banjo-Kazooie ...Tooie GTA 3 (Almost) Twisted Metal Head-On PSP Crash Bandicoot 2 Crash Bandicoot 3 (I think...) Sonic Adventure DC
Oh, I forgot to mention the games I beat before I sold them. I beat 90% of the games that I sold, and I couldnt tell ya how many I sold over the time of 1996-2002. I also beat a lot of SNES games, but they are at my brothers house. @WolverineDK, yeah, I know about the shells needed to buy the figurines, but you must buy the shells (recommended if you dont have a lot) at the store. They are 200 rupees for 30 shells, which is QUITE expensive. Here is a little trick you can do: 1. Go to Links house and go up the stairs 2. Go to the bottom left hand corner of the screen 3. Ezlo (the cap) says something 4. Dig around the house, and a red rupee comes out 5. go in the house and go out 6. The red rupee is in the exact same place every time you dig there! 7. repeat process of going in and out of house until you have lots of rupees, then buy shells from the store! If you want to have a 100% probability on the figurnes like I did, you will have to save up TONS of rupees. Good luck!
That game is so freaking awesome!! I had that back when it first came out on floppy disc. :-D Lets see.....I've beaten most of my games... Xbox 17/22 PS2 3/3 loloolo only 3 GameCube 8/11 Dreamcast 12/16 PlayStation 10/15 PC 12/14 Saturn 4/4 Genesis 7/12 Sega CD 1/1 Super Nintendo 5/7 Nintendo 5/7 Game Boy 3/5 Game Boy Advance 7/9 Game Gear 4/5 Game.com 3/3 N64 5/9 So I've beaten most of my games. I'm sure I'm missing a lot too though. If you counted all the games I've beaten in my life from rentals, trades, etc, I'm pretty sure the number goes above 200; I've played through sooo many PSX, Genesis and Dreamcast games. Good times.
Let's just say I've beaten almost every RPG I own from before the 128 bit era - but I didn't beat legaia, eternal eyes, or any other of the sucky ones. I've beaten many games two or three times (Lunar 2, Front Mission 3, Tales of Eternia), and I've had less luck with PS2 games, due to my PS2 dying and me having to get a new one. On the PS2, I've beaten Metal Gear Solid 2, Ace Combat 4, Zone of the Enders 2, Devil May Cry, and Breath of Fire V (a couple times each, ace combat 4 up to seven times now). And I've still got to beat every other PS2 game I own - like Arc The Lad Twilight, or La Pucelle Tactics. So, while I've played a lot of games, I don't have a high turnout average, like I used to have in the 32 and 16 bit era. I don't beat games that easily anymore. I have become old. Damn. I have to play more. Also, what do you consider "beating" a 2D shooter? Some dreamcast ones, you can see the end within 50 minutes, but it's about replay and improvement.
I would love to see a speedrun of the shooter Project-X I have never seen it past level 4 (the water level). Or seeing a speedrun of "The Owl Shooter" better known as Agony, a damn good Amiga shooter.
I mainly play RPGs, Xerdo. I replayed several shooters, but I still cant beat Ikaruga. But I havent tried that game in a while.
As for shooters a complete for me = far as I can get on one credit, never the end most of the time. For espgaluda lets say that would be get to the final boss on 1 credit. (I have never finished the final form on a single credit) Playing raiden 3 and finished it with 3 credits to see the end for a while and train. Then I will just limit myself to one credit. I reckon that will be 1 credit complete, as the patterns are all very generous. So with shooters there is no complete really for me. Its just about a certain degree of skill that I am happy with. I judge a fighter as complete when I can beat the game on the hardest setting with any random team/person. My nemisis for completion are Famicom endless shooters! Oh and beatmania/pop'n'music, there is always a couple of tracks beyond me!
As far as shooters go, I have never "completed" one (a traditional one, anyway). I can make it to maybe the third level on Raiden 2 with three credits. I suck, I know... By the way, Warakia, is Raiden 3 any good? I was going to buy it back in September, but money issues got in the way. It might be a birthday present to myself if it got fairly good reviews.
Well I love it at the moment. I got it a while ago and have hade a run just about every day on it. The only mild complaint I have is that it can be so furstrating. You know you build up a massive arsenel - red vulcan cannon and rockets my fav - to max, get a massive stock of bombs and then get hit by some stupid bullet from one of the joke point builder enemies. Only other gripe is that the bullets are the some colour is the explosions so they are somewhat hard to see. But that doesn't stop garegga being so damn good. All in all very recommended, I played it quite a bit in game centers so it seems OK difficulty wise to me - there is an option to turn bullets off! - also a really nice ps2 extra is you can play 2 player on one controller! So each analogue stick is a ship - nightmare! I'm currently in a high score challenge with another guy at oxford, seriously it messes with your head dodging bullets with two ships, with each thumb! But it looks great, runs full speed all the time, good with an arcade stick and will keep you occupied for ages. Definately the best raiden ever for me, but I never took to the first that much. Sorry to be so OT but this is a great game!
That's good enough for me. I'll start looking for a decent copy on eBay. Sorry about the thread hijack, folks. Resume your chatting .
