I haven't finished watching the whole series yet, I'm only partway through Fourth Stage. But I already want an FC3S and a Trueno.
None of them are fast, they're cars from the 90's. Nah, I don't even want a Silvia, just the FC3S and 86.
Well don't have too many favorite Japanese cars, but if i had to pick it would be an old 280z datsun, an older fairlady, old celica, Rx-7 or a supra. Just cool cars on their own.
I watched the crap out of Initial D like 12 or 13 years ago. I then I got it again recently, picked up this sweet game for my Saturn =P Always wanted an AE86 after that. Just to have.
I do too. The problem with all of these cars is that they guzzle fuel and are expensive to maintain, so you can't use any of them as a daily.
yo, i owned 3 AE86 in my life, best car to learn how to drive PERIOD makes every other car feel like cake when you honne your skills in one., I only like initial D because of the AE86, initial D had no influence on my love for the AE86, Being Puerto Rican IS the reason I love them. We call the hatch "Sapita" and the coupe "Sapito" and i knew what the 4AGE only and the "Twincan" Twin Cam with an accent lol Gran Turismo really showed me how broad the love for the AE86 was, and also the VHS Option Videos a few people in the hood brought back from their stays in OKI in the army. i remember being like 11 watching like team mouse and shit on VHS stupidly insane shit!
In Brazil we didn't have the AE86 (ban on the import cars at the time), and althrough is now import legal, I don't recall anyone bringing one, probably because of the price and the dollar raise here. But man, we barely have and RWD JDM here in a small or medium package, you either try the luck to find the ultra rare and expensive supras or RX7-RX8, or buy the Lexus GS and LS from the 90s, sometimes you may be lucky and find a SC400 (Soarer v8) for more. Another, yet more expensive alternative would be buying a 4x4 Subaru and deactivate the front wheel power.
