I learned of this new accessory (Give away for free by Nintendo) through a message I received on my Wii, sent by nintendo.

Has anyone yet "claimed" their free Wii Remote Jackets from them? Everyone owning a wii is entitled to them, so make sure you take advantage of this.

and remember: if it's free, snatch it!

Too bad it's right when my Wii dies thanks to the GPU overheat dots of death

For those with a Japanese Wii there's a form on NOJ's website to fill out.

You have to log on, register the products, then apply for them.

You have to search for "replacement leash" to get in que for the
nice thick ones, and search for "jacket" for the sleeves.

It actually asks you if you want 1-4 lol, I asked for 4.

If you register zelda you get the stylus, so if you work in a
gamestop, you could get quite a few of these pretty fast.

Not as nice as the aussie gold case, or the EU special console.

    Lucky sods.

btw, RIT dye works quite nice on them.

I'd first contact NOA and ask nicely. If it doesn't work out PM me. ;-)

in the words of the Virgin Mairy, come again??

Your Wii died? How? Why? What were the symptoms? Conditions pre-mortem?

Also, I have an NTSC/US Wii yet I live in the UK. Could someone please help me claim my free after-sales items?? :D

PS: I love NOA's legal team (I ve applied to them too). They re always so pre-emptive, resulting in excellent products and after-sales items! :D

Am I the only person on this forum who actually threw away the stupid wrist straps? I can't stand the things and think the need to use them is retarded ! Only idiots can't hold shit. Do you see tennins players with their racket strapped to their wrist? No, I didn't think so. So why is the Wii any different apart from more dumb arse idiots playing it than tennis?

Ohh, now I feel better. Rant over.

yeap, i ve detached my wrist-straps as well. Statistics dictate that my controller will one day go flying more probably than if i had attached the strap.

You could try to use my Wii´s serial number, if you want. =D
I don´t use those straps either btw, and probably won´t use those jackets too, but I ordered 4 of them ofcourse (have 1 wiimote) since they´re free. :110:
