Here's what happened: Sold a few things on ebay, someone with mixed feedback buys the item. Now, my policy on ebay is to contact me within 3 days of winning the item. However, 2 days have passed, and I tried to send the winner a email twice. Both times, I got this: Is the mailbox full, or does it not exist? It doesn't help that she has a negative feedback for never paying for a item, and a second one saying she buys stuff without paying for it... Anyway, my question is this: If I can't reach the winner by tomorrow, should I just go ahead and offer it to the lower bidder? I tried emailing the winner both yesterday and today.
I'd wait a bit longer, but it looks like you're gonna end up offering it to the lower bidder either way, unless she magically responds. Depends on your policy, but you're entitled to do so after tomorrow if you so specified it in your auction.
Yeah, I said so in the auction to contact me within 3 days. This isn't the first time this has happened, either. Someone bought a SA:LE from me before, but never contacted me. Sent him several emails, and gave him a full 2 weeks. Nothing. Doesn't help that the bidder in this particular auction only bid $1.00 over the other bidder.
Soo...Do you wish to buy it? I'm going to wait until the end of today. If there is no payment, then I will offer it to the lower bidder.
