What, you were expecting abuse for this? Why? There are plenty of people who like Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga. Sure, many people here won't show a preference towards them, but anyone who makes fun of you for this is more of an idiot than the person trying to get a rise out of people in the first place.

 

I don't like what Miley Cyrus stands for and what she does (just another awful Disney TV show shitfuck), but I can't say I dislike her "music" or whatever it is as I've never listened to it.

Lady Gaga again is a different story. Every insanely awful and tedious pop song I've heard on the radio in the past 12 months turned out to be made by her. Together with Rihanna, Lady Gaga must be the most awful female popmusic singer/songwriter of our time.

 

Music (as we know it from the broadcast media) went down the shit already a long long time ago.

 

Yeah, but there are some good stations left - mostly internet-based though.

I like the German MotorFM for alternative rock and electronic. They broadcast only in Berlin and Stuttgart though, so unfortunately I can't receive it in the car. Another good station is the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS), but only after 22pm lol. Then they come up with electronic and 80s rock & funk, but you'd rather avoid it before the late evening as they are just the same as all the others until then.

 

Figured this would at least be good for a laugh.

I just found a page where I could listen to it (it's prohibited to watch it on youtube in my country) and - oh god. After only having read the title I thought this was maybe some sort of remix of the rock song "party in the US ay-hay", but it's so much worse. Oh man. Such a girly'ish, pretentious, cruel crime against good taste. As if one of those MTV shows with its endlessly superficial Orange County rich girls and their empty lives had become a song.
