I managed to break the wifi antenna cable in my 3DS just by the Wifi card connector. Replacing the antenna seems like the biggest job known to man, so I was wondering if the cable could be soldered? I tried stripping it, but there's barely anything to it - I wanted to know if it is a single signal running through it, in which case I might stand a chance of fixing it, otherwise I might just split it for parts.

its a fine coax, center core with an insulator then shielding + another layer of insulation.

Core is center pin on the plug, shielding is the outer ring

Damn it, the core is barely distinguishable from the shielding.
