I have a few older versions of mac os x that are developer previews. The one that I really wouldd like to use had an expiration date back in 2005. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the limiter ( like if its a file in the system) or reburning the disc I'd prefer the first. Thx for thew help
The way to do that back then was to download the current release of OpenDarwin and replace key files. Aside from OpenDarwin being long gone, you'd have to find the proper version for your MacOS X release.
I know apple has darwin listed as open source and is downloadable for free on their developer site. It would probably take a while to replace all the core files. I guess i'll work on it
Talk to some of the OSx86 guys. All OSx86 is is Darwin with a shell on top (they cracked it that way, cause Darwin's open for all)
