R6 Stuffs are press infos, no software.

 

Make an image, preserve that shit! Even if someone isn't "Holy shit I need this" right at this moment, doesn't mean later on someone is desperately looking for this and finds it on Assemblergames with Google. This looks like interesting stuff, no reason not to.

 

Does the forum got an upload place ? Because if i use a free service, you know, not sure it will be there sin some years.

 

No on-site hosting for bigger files, unfortunately. But usually bumping the thread to find someone who still has the file works, even years later.

I mean, not really... the fact that AG doesn't have a dedicated on-site hosting solution/people who download absolutely everything is part of what makes ObscureGamers the better place for pre-retail content.

Having this mentality in the past has caused us to be really paying for it now, so many users have left since the site's initial downtime earlier this year.

Too bad that from what I can tell, their community is home to a lot of choleric a-holes and drama queens though. You won't catch me there, that's for sure. Good thing there's other places besides AG and OG.

maybe hidden palace could keep uploads of this stuff? archive.org could be an option for uploading if its old stuff.

 

archive.org really needs an easy process for users to upload files. then again, maybe not since some kinds of people would just start swamping them with crap... and curation would soak up a lot of manpower.

 

The same can be said about this place, but to each their own. IMO they have a right to be assholes and 'drama queens'.

I think i got tons of PSX/XBOX/PS2 Beta on DVDR/CDR but i do not find them (certainly lost lot when i moved last year)
I was in some major consoles groups in 90-00s.
I got our personal internal Tools, but they are on a DriveCrypt 5 and i do not remember je password :/
